The Curated Couple was born from a simple belief: that engaged couples deserve to feel empowered, not overwhelmed.
Our Story
It started with a question we kept hearing.
After years of working in the wedding industry — planning events, coordinating vendors, and sitting across the table from hundreds of engaged couples — we kept hearing the same thing: "We want to plan our own wedding, but we don't know where to start."
Full-service planning wasn't what they were looking for. They wanted to be involved. They wanted to make their own decisions. They just needed someone to show them how.
So we built The Curated Couple — a workshop designed to give engaged couples exactly what they need: the knowledge, the tools, and the confidence to plan their own wedding beautifully, on their own terms.
We've since guided hundreds of couples through the process. Every workshop is a reminder of why we started.

Kristin Hibler
Kristin has spent over 12 years in the wedding and events industry, planning more than 300 weddings across the country. She founded The Curated Couple after realizing that the couples she loved working with most were the ones who wanted to be involved — and that they needed a better resource than a Pinterest board. Kristin leads the curriculum design and facilitates the majority of our in-person workshops.

Terri Jones
Terri brings a decade of experience in event logistics, vendor management, and contract negotiation. Before co-founding The Curated Couple, she managed vendor relationships for a boutique event agency in New York, where he developed a deep understanding of how the industry actually works — and what couples need to know to navigate it confidently. Terri leads the vendor and contracts modules in every workshop.
